El cantautor sanrafaelino Kike Mortarotti lanzó su EP Alder, un proyecto musical que surge a mediados del 2020 cuando el autor descubre canciones que estaban olvidadas en un cajón. El disco fue grabado en los estudios de V2K por el ingeniero de sonido Maxi Garino y la producción musical de Maxi Guiñazú.
Kike Mortarotti es un músico de San Rafael, Mendoza, que como solista afrontó nuevos desafíos, estilos y maneras de trabajar a las que estaba acostumbrado en el pasado. Si bien la idea original era grabar las canciones en formato acústico, por sugerencia de su equipo de trabajo apuntó a un producto mucho más ambicioso.
Alder es el nombre del personaje principal convertido en música y cada canción representa un capítulo narrando su historia a través de diferentes emociones, vivencias y formas de interpretar lo vivido. El trabajo completo consta de cuatro temas, con influencias musicales diversas tales como No Te Va Gustar, León Gieco, Jorge Drexler, Bersuit Vergarabat, Gustavo Cordera, Javier Calamaro, Calle 13, Juanes y Bunbury.
Kike Mortarotti ya estrenó “Visitas”, “A pesar de las heridas”, “Pasaron cosas” y “Nunca por siempre” explorando varios estilos como el rock, pop, folk, trap y cumbia. Los temas se encuentran disponibles en su canal oficial de YouTube, con el impulso del sello discográfico UPM Music Innovation.
